Reading reports of anywhere from 4.5 - 6.5 locally as of last Saturdee.

I'm comfy with 4 and itchin' to get out now that CFB is done.

Yea if you're walking 4-5 inches is probably enough.

My dad has to use a 4-wheeler though and I just don't trust 6 inches like I usually would. With the way it has froze, warmed up, refroze, warmed back up, and refroze. I don't like that at all.

Not even once. I've been busy looking for a house. But I found one on Sunday. I'm heading out tomorrow onto west Okoboji with a local guide who invited me to join him since he had an open day. Perch are on fire and there's a steady walleye bite. 6+ inches of ice allowing snowmobile and atv traffic. Temps near 30 is gonna make it a great day.

I love me some big bull gills. West Okoboji has some pigs if you can get them to bite. Seen some real big Perch come out of Big Spirit too.
