Agreed, but OL is by far the biggest need. Not sure if I'm sold on Watt at center. If we're going with him we need major upgrades at both guard spots. Would like to see them re-sign Dunlap as well. He's earned it.

I'd like to see the Packers focus on NT, CB and OLB in the draft in the hopes of "toughening" up that soft D.

Offensively, I think they'll be okay, just make damn sure they sign Cobb and Bulaga.


What positions should your team focus on?

Packers need a good ILB. All the Packers need to do to be right back in it is build around their best defensive player Clay Matthews. Getting him help inside will allow him to cherry pick where he wants to play in the 3-4 and keeps him from being forced into an ILB on a lot of plays. This allows Clay to just move anywhere creating matchup nightmares.

Good/great defenses just build around their best player. Seattle does that with Thomas (allowing a freak SS to play like a hybrid linebacker), Tampa did it with Brooks (full out pass rush, Brooks covered all flats/runs), Ravens with Lewis (generally a freak, could cover any TE/RB and dominate the run), etc.

Clay Matthews is 3-4 OLB freak who understands how to rush passers, play the run, and cover (extremely rare). Build around that and get him to worry less about inside gaps and Green Bay will wreck.

Provided the Cowboys keep Dez and Murray, which I think they will, and one of their RT's, needs are obviously on the defensive side. Crawford really came on at 3T, and Lawrence, with a full offseason, could break out in year two as well. The LB's will be the stregth of the team, with Leee coming back, though it will be interesting to see if the team keeps Carter after he improved down the stretch. Biggest needs
