Obviously most were under Petrino. Our DBs have been so bad it was hard to find any decent ones to put. Brandon Allen over Tyler Wilson was a tough call but Allen's 2015 season was ridiculous.

Pretty much agree. Only spots I would quibble about would be Gallman over Ellington at RB2, Dalton Freeman over Falcinelli at C, Grady Jarrett as my DT2 over DexStar, and DeAndre McDaniel would be one of my starting safeties.

I considered Gallman. However, ultimately, the fact that Ellington was a major factor for four years instead of three won out for me. He also had more total yards (unsurprising considering his extra year) and came through in really big years (228 yards against Auburn in 2012 comes to mind). I think Falcinelli is plain better. Grady vs. Dexter is close, but I saw Dexter as a generational talent who just shut down the inside run completely. I know Clemson still pounded Notre Dame and Bama without him, but he was fantastic. And DeAndre is great, but the other two were otherworldly. That's fair though.

AJ McCarron should be the QB2. Besides that, your list is AWESOME!

I gave it some thought, but Jalen earned it with the SEC Championship game last year.

McCarron won Back to Back BCS Championship Games (and had a great game both times), won the 2012 SEC Championship Game in comeback fashion, was the #1 rated (passing efficiency) QB in CFB in 2012 and won the 2013 Maxwell Winner! It's your list, but I think AJ blows Jalen away as an Alabama QB.

Overall, we're mostly agreeing. That said, I'm really confused about a couple of yours. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

1. Hunter. Obviously, I love Hunter Renfrow. He's one of the best feel-good stories in Clemson history, and is a hell of a player. He could be special in the pros if he finds a QB that he has a connection with. That said, there's no way anyone can consider him the best wide receiver at wide receiver U. Sammy played one less year, but had 1,200 more yards than him, along with double the touchdown catches. Mike also had significantly more yards and touchdowns, despite breaking his neck his junior year. Mike also put the team on his back in the 2016 championship. Hunter had a special connection with Deshaun, who could always count on him to get the first if the big threats were covered. But after Deshaun left, neither Kelly nor Trevor had the same connection, which is why he only had 4 touchdowns total in 2017 and 2018. I'll also say that Justyn Ross hasn't earned it yet (one good season does not a superstar make), though he should be there by graduation.

2. Dorian O'Daniel. He was a really good player. He's definitely one of the best special teams players Clemson has had. But I don't see an argument for him as one of the best linebackers. He only had 11 starts (40 career games) and was a backup for most of his career. He ended up with 116 tackles in three years (37 in special teams) with 3 sacks. Kendall, who you leave off, had 40 starts (48 career games) with 306 tackles with 8 sacks, and also had 2 picks, 4 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. He was also a team leader and two times made All-ACC.
