How many current GMs graduated from a 4 year University anyway?

Oh. My bad. I thought this was the time when we just posted random shit that had nothing to do with the subject at hand.
You want to talk about your favorite sabermetric statistic?

I'd rather mock you if you don't mind.
For what? Having something that I genuinely love above everything else? Having a reason to live? That is worth your mockery? You are a sad human being:L

You got me. Maybe you could come up with an equation for that. Anything to avoid actual human interaction and whatnot.

For me it's OBP and K/BB ratio.

I have already been in contact with them about an internship in the front office. Do you really think they would accept anyone who is not at a 4 year university? The answer is "no," in case you were wondering
Seriously, if that is what you are working towards, you should maybe do a blog or something. There are definitely people that are interested in those advanced stats but even though this is a sports forum it is still a small percentage that have a working knowledge of some of the calculations that you post on here. Then you'd have something to show front office people when you graduate. Also, on said blog maybe, just maybe tone down the rhetoric involving cocksucking and offing people or yourself to attain wins for the home team.

I agree with Wazmankg (above)

"Traditional" numbers like HR, RBI, ERA and W-L are still fun to look at even if the metrics people look at you like you poisoned the dog.

A bad first baseman can turn any infield into crap.

I like a hitter who doesn't strike out much.

Good. Now, check out the 2015 chart and observe the same thing. Then the 2014 chart. Rinse and repeat until you slowly feel the retardness drip from your brain.

I might suggest that denigrating people who respond is something you might eventually mature out of. But if your agenda on this platform is to ridicule people by using personal attacks, ain't nobody gonna like you or what you do. If that doesn't matter to you, then you truly do need to grow up. Being anonymous on a social media board isn't really a license to be a jerk. It's OK to be nice to other people even if you disagree.

I agree with the other poster who said you could tone down the comments about cocksucking. Not many people join a sports forum to navigate that sort of childish and crude commentary.

But never fear, you got your metrics all figured out.

How Ten MLB General Managers Began Their Sports Careers

All of the 10 interviewed here, all from very prestigious colleges
Prestigious colleges.... Like Western?

I'm not going to tell someone not to go to school. But you shouldn't put off what you want to do, so you can prepare to do what you want.

Get a fucking job. Even if the Phils won't pay you.

And don't throw prestigious around. Or your limp Dick GPA, it's faggy.

The whole premise here was to introduce some Einsteinian numbers to the board and wait for people to say they aren't what the game is about ... then ridicule people who attack the premise.

Sometimes I worry Omar will go down the JDM road and convince himself he's actually smarter than the rest of the world.

It'd be a shame. But predictable.
