Your impressions of the A Day Game

Didn't see a topic about Saturday's A day game so thought I'd get everyone's impressions.

What I took away was atrocious QB play...Sims should not be starting even if we didn't have Coker coming in. I saw spurts where Bateman looked like he could do excellent things in the future, but he still has a lot to learn.

The OL still has some meshing to do, but I think with time that'll improve. The receivers looked awful imo. I saw a lot dropped balls, but to be fair a lot of throws were off the mark. However, I played receiver and I've always felt if it hits you in the hands you should catch it (there are exceptions here) and I saw many dropped balls that could have -- and in the case of a few should have -- been caught. RBs, we're good there...I'd say every Bama fans agrees with that.

The defense looked nasty right down to the second string. Hard to tell how good they'll be because the offense didn't present much of a challenge.

Im calling it now Tony Brown will be 1st team All SEC this year. Also our front 7 looked vastly improved.

QB- need Coker now
RB- set for the next 5 years
TE- most underrated group on the team
WR- didn't see much extra effort to get open and too many easy drops
OL- young, inexperienced, but won't cost us a game

DE- hot damn were gonna be good on the edges
DT- pretty solid
OLB- impressive
MLB- good sideline-sideline tackling, need more aggressiveness in the box
CB- already look better than last years group
S- should be fine as long as healthy

K- God help us
P- God help us
