Last week I had knocked Clemson down to #7, and said the offense needed to show what it was capable of to move back up. They most definitely did. The Clemson that played today could beat any team in the country, though it still has kinks that makes it beatable. Nevertheless, they're moving back up for me.

1. Ohio State (they've looked fantastic so far, throttling cupcakes consistently is what elite teams have to do)
2. LSU (based on resume and two great wins - I still suspect Bama will beat them).
3. Clemson (Likely the best defense in this group, and the offense seems to remember who they are)
4. Bama (they're the man in the SEC and no one's beaten them - still have some questions but those wide-outs are disgusting)
5. Oklahoma - (good offense as always, better defense than the past few years)

1. Clemson (The Champs #1, until someone beats them)

2. Alabama (Until someone beats them or Clemson loses)

3. Oklahoma (Quarterback U ... Hurts has a bad day, only responsible for 4TDs)

4. Wisconsin (Could easily be #1 ... Waiting for the October 26th battle with ohio state - hopefully a win)

5. Georgia (After a bye week, it appears that Georgia was prepared for Tennessee ... Florida/Georgia looks big)

Notes:

LSU is worthy of the top 5 and they will get their chance. Next week is big

ohio state is a purposeful absence from the Top 5 ... If they remain undefeated and beat Wisconsin (On Oct 26) they're in.

1. Clemson (The Champs #1, until someone beats them)

2. Alabama (Until someone beats them or Clemson loses)

3. Wisconsin (Probably the best team in the country 29 points given up this season and 14 of those were with a half defense)

4. Oklahoma (Quarterback U ... Worst offensive game all season 34 points. Looks like they may have the beginnings of a defense)

5. LSU (Big win against a good Florida team, things become more defined after Alabama on November 9th)
