If it's the Patriots/Seattle, I'd expect the lowest price to be ~$1500.

If it's Indy/Seattle, I'd expect the lowest price to be ~$1200.

IF it's AFC/Green Bay, I expect you'll watch the game on TV and get really drunk.

Either way, like I mentioned, tickets will be cheapest the closer you get to the game. Since you live in AZ, I'd even wait until Friday or Saturday (Jan 30/31) to buy tickets.

Thanks for the info :suds:

What's the worst that could happen waiting that long, like you said about a Packer matchup, stay home and get drunk?

I'm finding tickets at 1800 today.....
I won't get too serious until Wednesday. I checked airline fares from Okinawa today - good prices....
Now if I can fly to LA and get Hammer to give me a ride to the game.....

...it's a great experience going to your first one,.....I went to the pats/Rams SB (2/2002) down in the best spot for a SB = New Orleans,......and after 9-11 happened we only had one week to get tix/flight/rooms, there was no two weeks in between,....I was fortunate to have two tix/in hand that a guy I knew won in a pats lottery, I paid a grand each for them, face value was $400 back then,.......it was about a $5000-weekend for me and a friend,......after dealing with airports, searches, cabs, tipping, drinking, no sleep, delays at airport going home = I'll stay home,.......been-there-done-it/had a blast....!

The last one I went to was Panthers / Patriots. I lived in Charlotte at the time. I bought a spare ticket off a Panther fan. The look on his and his buddies faces when I sat down with them with a Patriots shirt on.....priceless!

I can't even explain the feelings last year. Even the 6 hours we waited to get on the train in NYC (surrounded by Seattle fans) was enjoyable.

I was on cloud nine for weeks. Even now, thinking back I'm excited.

Right? My hand was getting sore from all the high fives that we're going around while I waited to get on my train back to Baltimore.

Still haven't forgiven those fuckers at NJ Transit for the week long head cold I got after sitting in the rain for ninety minutes just trying to get out of the stadium, though.

I'm wasting my time here. If I want to buy tickets, I need to go try the Green Bay board.

They won't be needing them.....

There was a couple of hours there where I was trying to decide if I wanted to go spend the money on a Super Bowl trip when the Hawks weren't there... that game was insane.

Where did you get your tickets? Stubhub, Ticketmaster, etc?

Both good options. I went with VividSeats last year. Any of the top 4-5 results on google should be good.

I've bought Hawks tickets through them as well, but how did you get them with only a day or two out? Typically they need to send them to you, did you pick them up?

Lots of drama - as usual!
I'm thinking this will be an epic super bowl. Apparently the fans are too.
Prices are going up - that is unusual!

I just bought my ticket packages through the NFL On Location... its actually to the point where that was cheaper for more and better tickets than any site out there right now. I had been planning on waiting until last second to try to save money, but got worried that wouldn't work out, with how the supply/pricing seems to be going.

I went to SB 40 when you guys got cheated out for the Jerome Bettis retirement party. Game pissed me off so much, but I was in a suite and the food and drink kinda made up for it.

Prices continue to go up. I guess Goodell was right - deflategate is good for business.
Now if we can get Lynch to snub the media......

I just cannot believe how expensive these tickets prices are. They are upwards of $6,000-$7,000 for nosebleed seats right now.

Absolutely insane.

As far as I know, my brother is going.......being a double/club-seat owner = he'll get 2 tix for face-value from the pats org..,.....and if his neighbors in the other seats stay home, sometimes they'll sell their tix to him like they did in 2011.
