Well that's great. Is now a good time to say i actually fought a ref before?

He didn't like the fact that I questioned a non-call on a too many men on the ice in a championship game. My team was down a man and killing a 6 on 4 pp when I cleared the puck up the boards and one of our guys went streaking on a 1 on 1 with their goalie, that' right 7 men on the ice. So I yelled at the ref for not noticing and then when he counted he still blew it off and told them to get someone off the ice. I called him a bunch of colorful names while lining up for the face off and then had him attempt to tackle me to the ice. Now being the fine upstanding player I am I beat the living shit out of him. The best part of the whole thing was not only did my team win the championship and I faced no suspension, but the ref was fired for his misconduct. I think the fact that he attacked me kinda helped my case though.

I kind of like it. You can't just check a ref without repercussions. I mean, usually, you just get ejected, but sometimes you deserve to be attacked and then ejected.

Man, the player that skated over and patted his butt has got a set of balls on him. It's always been my understanding that when your coach is heated or tossed, you avoid him. Even if you have done nothing wrong, he isn't in the mood to deal with any of his players.
