3 years for a 36 year old avg OF. 15 million a year. I don't even want to talk about this move.

    I hate Cashman.

I am fucking loving this team.

    This is awesome.

We can still get Choo, trade Gardner, and bring in Infante. if we could get Brandon Phillips for Gardner that would give us:

    1. Jeter
    2. Ellsbury
    3. Choo
    4. Soriano
    5. Beltran
    6. Teixeira
    7. McCann
    8. Phillips
    9. Infante

Tell me that's not a good lineup.

Another brilliant move. I'm guessing you would prefer ichrio over beltran? How can you bitch about this?

Another reason this move is awesome is that Beltran is as clutch as they come when it comes to October baseball

He is 36 years old who can't hit Lefties that well anymore. We will have him until he is 39 years old. Oh yeah we already have a DH in Soriano. This move makes no sense.

Im not a fan of it. 15 mill for 3 years for a 36 year old OF who has bad knees. Cant get too excited about this move.

I been swing get Phillips since Cano picked the M's. Phillips would be perfect for this team. Trade Gardner and and a prospect for him.

Why is everyone forgetting to put Arod in the lineup. He isn't getting suspended. He is winning the case right now.

You act like Kuroda, Nova, and CC are terrible pitchers. All we need is one more and we can find our #5 within the organization

Personally I believe he's already played his last game as a Yankee, I think after his suspension they will cut him and eat the contract. Just my opinion.

I wish Beltran all the luck going forward. He was a great Cardinal for a short time.

He can hit lefties pretty well. He obviously isn't as good of a righty as he is hitting left handed, but he is productive.

Still think you need pitching. "I can't" CC "My Feet" Sabathia us on the back side of his career.

Doesn't the Beltran signing leave the Yankees with 6 outfielders? A lot of 35 plus year old players. I think you definitely need Phillips at 2B instead of Kelly Johnson. That move would improve immensely.

Wells and Ichrio probably won't be on the team and if one of them is on the team, it will mean they traded Gardner

Heard they are trying to trade ichrio back to seattle for a 4th or 5th starter or Wells to SF for a 4th or 5th starter. IF they can trade either one they will trade Gardner for a #2 or #3 pitcher. Goal is to trade for Phillips but don't think Reds will trade him to us.

I love Ichiro and I think he's a hall of famer but his trade value is minimal at best.

originally i had forgotten about nova, a guy i supported from day 1, so we have CC kuroda and nova, its not bad if they do their job.... still need 2 more solid starters imo...

back to nova, either he did peds or girardi messed with him too much...

i think everyone wants to forget about him, arod wasn't doing anyhting for this team that anyone would want to put him in lineup anyway imho, i hope he is done for baseball's sake and i also hope selig is held responsible for the entire ped debacle

I agree but right now worst case it will be for only 50 games. Word still is that he will get 0 games. Either way he will play next year.

Carlos Bumtran gotta couple of years to top up the retirement thanks to cashman. Bumtran way worse than Vernon Wells and Soriano 2nd time, yet Joe will bat him 5th still?! Of course neither idiot will admit the contract was another stupid mistake instead “Our coaches say he’s still looking for his swing,”

dont worry idiots he'll find it again, but you'll have to keep giving up the auto-out in the 5 hole until he does.... maybe next year.
