I dont think it was because the 'Hawks won. I think it was just the entire presentation and awarding of the trophy. Over the years he has shown he is an emotional guy, I expect the same would have happened if the Flyers won.

I agree. Roenick has always worn his heart on his sleeve, and he never won the Cup himself. I'm sure he has great memories of both towns, and if Philly would have won he would have been just as torn up and happy for the players and fans.
