He's a solid football guy. Wasn't the most exciting coach when he was with the St Louis Rams but his vast experience may return the defense especially to prominence.

Defense already did that last year with #2 overall ranking. I think he can certainly enhance what we do and certainly knows what it takes to get to the next level. I think we may run some 3-4 schemes with his input as well. Never hurts to have a 20 year NFL coach around to bounce ideas off of. He's seen it all.

He was a better defensive coordinator than head coach. It'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table.

This division is going to be nasty for the next 5-10 years. PSU and Michigan coming back full force and OSU off a Natty with MSU at their best since mid 60's. Md and Rutgers are in deep shit

Yea LBU. With the influx of ex-NFL coaches, the division indeed is going to be a literal preparatory farm system for the NFL.
