When Sims was being recruited back in the 2009 season, he had been committed to Alabama for over a year, but directly after the NC win against Texas, Sims backed off his verbal to Alabama.

The reason: Lane Kiffin @ Tennessee was recruiting him saying Sims would be the perfect fit to run Lane Kiffins offense. 1 week later, Kiffin bolts to USC and Sims comes to Alabama.

And now, here is Sims running Lane Kiffins offense at Alabama.

I would have never in a million years guessed this, and probably would have marked it as false if it were part of some fact or fiction type show.
