Would you rather draw the 6th seed? Or the 4th seed?

Panthers have had their number lately. It's a favorable matchup for sure. I would take them against anyone else for sure. But I wouldn't be afraid of the bruins pens or rangers. Come playoff time Kovy should have 40 goals Parise in the 30s. Even clarkson and elias close to 30. Thats a lot of offense to try and stop. Something devils havent had for a long time. Flyers and hartnell scare me he's all around good.

The Flyers and Bruins size is what worries me (I like the additions of Ponikarovsky and Bernier to help balance that out a bit). We'll have to play them eventually if we realistically want to play for the cup, but I'd like to avoid them in the first round. Anybody else I'm ok with. The easy answer is the 6th seed but we've lost twice to the Panthers this year and the 3 seed with the nobody believes in us mentality can easily upset a more talented 6th seed, so it's not as simple a choice as you would think.

We definitely want to avoid the Ranger, Bruins, Flyers early. Off of us missing all them? Pretty low, we'll see what happens.

As long as its not the flyers in the first rd.... I feel confident vs NYR and somewhat upbeat vs the Bruins though I like our chances vs NYR more.

Chances are really good that if we dont draw the Flyers in the 1st round we wouldnt have to see them until the ECF's.

Unless sid comes back I see the devils flyers for 1st round. Pens get the 6th and either caps or panthers.

Which is ok with me because I think if there is a time to beat he flyers its round 1.

Still can't get over the rangers are the "best" in the east. Team is so thin offensive

It's certainly reachable... but the Rags do have a game up on us though and 7 pts(ATM) is 4 games for us to win, 5 for them to lose....

That will be tough.

Winnipeg isn't out of the question for that division either. Right now they're tied but have played 4 more games than Florida. We'd kick their asses no doubt in 4 or 5 games.

Jumping past the Rags is def in my mind now..tomorrow could go either really good or really bad for us with the Rags having a should be cupcake on the Island and us having the Nucks at home , even though they have Luongo going tonight in Detroit so decent chance we see Schnieder in goal for em.

We would need a lot of luck down the stretch to get this division but Im confident. The team is exciting and winning. Weve seen them go on crazy 30-40 game runs before.
