i can only see positive things for south florida, sec travels very well and dolphin stadium would have some great crowds

Apparently the Big 12 schools were opposed to the idea of adding 12 teams, they felt the conference championship game was too much of a hurdle.

also we apparently convinced the MWC not to add Utah State and one other team for the same reason.

Unless one school in Florida starts to try to pull the strings like Texas is evidently (or supposedly) doing in the Big 12. Then the whole thing could collapse. Be careful what you wish for.

here is how i look at it,
UVA,DUKE,GT,VT,UNC
i never looked foward to going to any of these schools for away games and how do you sell that schedule every year to a very pickeeeee fan base

now have uf,bama,lsu,vols uga some heavy hitter programs with history of winning

if the money is right anything can happen, the canes are in a heck of a market and i dont know many fans who say oh goody we get to go to vt in november or maryland or bostoncollege, i am all for playing every game in the south.
