The good...Ryan played the 1st qtr and the 1st team OFC looked crisp for the 1st time all camp. Shanny obviously wanted to showcase Sanu in this game and looked pretty sharp...caught some balls in traffic, caught a slant and showed some power and finesse...from an athletic standpoint, he's an upgrade over Roddy...we'll have to see if that translates into better reg season performance.
Freeman imo is the clear cut #1 RB...both he and Coleman got snaps with 1st unit. He's just a more instinctive runner...knows when to make the cut backs in the zone scheme...Coleman you can see is more explosive, if he gets a crease he has the home run speed to get 6...this duo should be fun to watch this season.
DEF got some pressure...has a sack on RG3 and got another one on the backup.
Schaub is going to be a solid backup.
Spoon can still play...may not give up his spot that easily but the rookie Campbell played okay as well.
The bad...Trufant got burnt for 6 on a deep ball and the rookie Neal in his debut was also touched up for 6 on a deep ball...Neal was running with the big TE, but the ball was perfectly thrown.
Run def was not really that great...RG3 broke for a long run and the running backs were getting to the second level nearly every rush it seemed.
