Projected wins: 47.5

The Wizards bring back largely the same roster -- they're fifth in the percentage of projected minutes played by returning players -- so it's no surprise that Washington is expected to finish in largely the same spot as last season, when it went 49-33.

So we are projected to take a step backwards next season? I predict 50 wins next season my self.

IMO, the projection is a compliment -- I have some worries about injuries and the bench.
So according to what is written, we will win the division again!

not just that we would be taking a step back ... but not stepping as far forward to keep pace with other teams ... like the celtics.

but 50+ wins is a reasonable expectation for this squad to progress to.

#3 seed is fine, I believe that is an automatic division title in our case.
There is a possibility we could get #2 seed if Cleveland trades Kyrie and Toronto does take that step back.

The new schedule came out yesterday. It looks like they have more nationally televised games, which is a good thing. Personally, I moved closer to the Washington area a few years ago so now I can get the Wizard's games on CSN mid Atlantic network. I am about two hours away. I am looking forward to the season and hoping that they go far into the playoffs. Happy to be a fan.

its nice to be able to have positive expectations ... & not be all Eeyore about the upcoming season as was the case my entire childhood, lol
