Not impressed with the free agency approach so far. We traded from Dudley and are strongly going after David West? We have no back up Center and no 3 point specialist/back up SG.

We should be going after Bismack Biyombo (back up Center), Derrick Williams (athletic SF/PF) and Wayne Ellington (back up SG/ 3 point specialist)

I see no point in going after David West. We continue to build this team as if Kevin Durant has already signed on the dotted line. If he doesn't, then we are in trouble as we are literally putting all of our eggs in 1 basket.

I like the Dudley trade. He's not going to chew up cap, and allows the Wiz to run the same small ball lineups that excelled in the postseason with Dudley playing the 4.

Gary Neal can shoot the rock. He will spell Beal and Wall.

Other than that there isn't a whole lot the Wiz could do this year. They still the MLE they can use, and if I heard correctly they used it on Anderson. Not a great pickup IMO, but there wasn't a whole lot left. They are up against the cap already. They were trying to get rid of Nene to free up cash but couldn't find any takers. Next offseason is what the Wiz are preparing for. Even if Durant decides to stay in OKC the Wiz will have plenty of cash (due to the higher cap and Nene coming off the books) to build around their core group of Wall, Beal, Gortat, and Porter. If Oubre develops, they have a really good young nucleus that good players on the open market will find appealing.
