When is the last time you seen a hooters or wing house girl dressed in Hijab??

Employers set dress codes all the time. At any point these women could have said no, and all it might have cost them was their spot on the squad. Now yes, if they were forced to do things they didnt want to, that would be wrong. But if they had the ability to say no, and they decided to go along any way to keep their spot on the squad. Well I put that in the same light as all these women coming out and saying they slept with someone to get a movie part, and NOW they regret it.
I get that, but if Hooters made their girls lose their tshirts they'd be in violation of agreed uniform.

As a matter of fact, yes.

Go to a bank...wear a suit.

Go to the beach...wear a swimsuit.

Go to a strip club...wear nothing.

See how it works?
Strippers wearing nothing understandable. As far as I know NFL cheerleaders have uniforms that include TOPs

Yea, they would. BUt if Hooters girl waited years to complain, when the political climate was right for her to say file a law suite. I would at minimum question her motivations. Especially if, she didnt raise a complaint at the time. And at the end of the day, they likely had to option to say "Im not doing that." And all it would cost them is a shitty part time job with low pay at best any way.

I agree the offended girl should have complained years ago.

It was wrong for the team to ask them to pose topless. But it was just as wrong for the girls to do it and then act victimized after the fact.
Now if the girls did balk and the team fired them, then a legitimate complaint. Could be filed.

Very true...can required clothing change in a company hand book?
I'm pretty sure if I decided to make all the "suitable" females here go topless, I'd find myself in a bit of trouble.
Maybe I'll run it up the flag pole and find out. FWIW most likely I'd have supported the team telling the girls to whip em out.

I was mostly kidding about the possibility but didn't that sort of happen to Jerry Richardson? They should get the Dan too. He can sit in the Harvey Weinstein office.

I don’t know what you do for a living. I am guessing having them go topless for your amusement would not go very well for you because them being topless doesn’t do anything for their job. Having cheerleaders go topless may help in their job.

I don't care about their job, it would make my job more enjoyable.

So no story?

there is a story ... but its conflicting

“It’s just not right to send cheerleaders out with strange men when some of the girls clearly don’t want to go,” one cheerleader who was there said. “But unfortunately, I feel like it won’t change until something terrible happens, like a girl is assaulted in some way, or raped. I think teams will start paying attention to this only when it’s too late.”

Stephanie Jojokian, the longtime director and choreographer for the Redskins’ cheerleaders, disputed much of the women’s description of the Costa Rica trip. She vehemently denied that the night at the club was mandatory and said that the cheerleaders who went were not chosen by sponsors.

OK, The tweet wasn't showing earlier. My honest opinion is it's not just Washington doing this, I'd bet all teams are, maybe not their cheerleaders though. One exception would be the Giants, they replaced the girls with boys.
