Good for him. He's a projected first round pick right?

No, 2nd or 3rd rounder ... slot guy.

Is ranked in the Top 10 of WR's declaring this year, so far, though.

Ah, still not terrible, could have stayed for another year though if that's the case.

Yeah, and a couple of NFL experts advised him as such.

Money talks and he says he's still gonna get his degree.

I'm not surprised either and am not bitter about it. WR position is deep and talented next year. Hunter Jr. will be ND's big play guy next year. Robinson, Hunter, St. Brown, Sanders, and incoming freshman Claypool. Still like the offense a lot next year. Depth at Tight End, quarterback, running back, line, and wide receiver.

Yeah it would have been nice if he had come back but they have depth right now. The defense is the biggest concern.

I knew it he wouldn't keep his word. After seeing Smith go down I had a feeling he would leave. I feel so bad for Smith.

I really don't know if he was really being honest the first time around. It kind of felt from the video I saw that he was just saying it so the reporters would leave him alone and not cause a distraction.

I understand that but its better not to say anything at all. I understand change of mind after seeing Smith go down but overall should of said something like I don't know yet, I will decide after the season. Something like that.

Not surprising ... changed his mind.

I gotta think watching Jaylon get injured might have sealed the deal, here.

I gotta say that he would look great playing for my Eagles. He has D Jackson minus the baggage written all over him. What round do you think he goes Craig?

Meh, don't really know.

As stated, the 'experts' are projecting him a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Dude is not big (6 ft), so he'll likely be some sort of slot guy for somebody, plus he's had issues with catching the ball ... is fast as hell though.

Sometimes going to the hometown team can be bad for a young player.

Honestly I think he goes in the late 2nd or early 3rd like his projection shows. If he hadn't had so many dropped passes this year and through his career it would be a different story.

I'd love to have him back, but I understand his decision. Also, while it probably would have been better not to say anything regarding his return for his senior year, he made the original comment during the season, and I believe it would have been a bad idea for him to imply that he was leaving while we still had games to play. And as has been mentioned, while we will definitely miss him, WR is still a position of depth for next year.
