Celtics vs Bucks in the Eastern conference finals. Since the Bucks acquired Bledsoe they've played like an elite defense. I can't even imagine how good that team will be when they add another 20 ppg scorer in Parker in January

I think the C's will win the East even without Hayward. If he does come back they might win a couple games vs the warriors but aren't ready to win it yet.

It is early, but the defensive and coaching gap is just too great IMO. The young Celtics will only get better as the year goes on, the old Cavs will wear down, etc.

Obviously nothing is a lock but we all knew last year it would be Cavs Warriors III and that's exactly what happened. I'm calling it now.

Just looked at their upcoming schedule, have no idea when they will lose again.

The next possible chance seems like next Wed in Miami. Can't see them losing to Atlanta or Dallas.

Not saying this because I'm a heat fan but those 2 teams played a game that went down to the wire a few weeks ago and that was without Whiteside. If they get by Miami, they may not lose until mid December. They play 6 of 7 in Boston following the Miami game.

I have to admit... for a minute there... when the C's were down 3 or 4 guys due to injury... I was secretly hoping for 1 or 2 more minor injuries so that Brad Stevens might be forced into the role of "Player Coach."

There is no doubt in my mind he would dominate on the court.
