he got the royals without much at the MLB level and a destroyed minor league system.

His biggest chip to start out-Zach Grienke - turned him into a deal that set KC heart of their defense and ended up with wade Davis as well.

He rebuilt the minor leagues through the draft and signing FAs.

Let them play together in the minors and brought them up together in the majors, they have played as a team before and had success.

He then added the right type of veterans in the mix to bring them all together for a perfect storm last season.

He addressed his 3 weakest areas in the off season - combined result- better record, upgrade.

He then addressed his 3 weakest areas before the trade deadline- upgrade.

This is currently the best Royals team in 30 years.... best rotation, best lineup and definitely best bullpen..the result...to be determined

Since 2011 he has done a much better job. If he proves he can win without the top 10 picks, I am comfortable with him. The Grienke trade has kind of been his shining achievement as a GM.

Since 2011, yeah, the guys he drafted were actually getting MLB ready, have to eat at least 4 seasons on how bad the entire Royals system was.

Signing Sal Perez as a FA pretty solid as well as the guts it took to trade Wil Myers off, plenty hated that one and it has ended up a winner.

Yeah, there wasn't really much infrastructure in the first couple years Moore was here. Was definitely comparable to building up an expansion organization as sad as that is to say. It's been a refreshing few years. I just hope Moore is ready for his biggest challenge yet.

He really has been money these past several years.

because he built a great foundation. The only negative I am seeing is nothing in the pipeline yet positional wise, a crash is a coming without a couple of good positional drafts soon.
