I think the thing to remember is this: The Patriots are going to the Superbowl whether Gronk plays or not.

And we can all take solace in that.

One reason I prefer having Gronk is because Kelce is a Grade-A D-bag, and that affects the locker room chemistry sooner or later.

Sure those college hits count, but I'd rather be 22 years old getting hit by some college LB who may not even make an NFL roster, as opposed to being 27 years old and getting crushed by guys like James Harrison or Kam Chancellor every week. I think those NFL hits count for two or three times that of a college hit.
