The bar has been set pretty low. Hopefully WVU can exceed the expectations.

I note that they failed to mention the All America Defensive End transfer of Riddick. The article was written with the belief that the WVU defense will not improve this year. They correctly that we are loaded with linebackers and have a great secondary. Our O Tackles are new and will be the wildcard.

Buie is the best of the bunch??? really.

Rosterwise, WVU is now worse than a middle of the pack B12 team. 7 returning starters on both offense and defense for a team that Beat Ok State, took Texas to overtime, Hung with Oklahoma and were competitive in most B12 games. This team does have potential to be very good.

Now when you can do so well against big competition and then lose to Iowa State and Kansas, that is coaching. Our #78 ranking is based more on the coaching failures of the past two years than the players on the team.
