Im gonna go with JT, I think he is the most well rounded of the 3. I have 12 gauge in a close second and think Brax should be moved to a skill position.

Ohio State football: Why I disagree with J.T. Barrett's Dad

“Of course I would love to see my kid start, but for me it always goes back to who was first,” he said. “If Braxton hadn’t gotten hurt, I would still be waiting for my baby to get the chance to play. I was thankful J.T. got that chance … and we were all blessed that he was ready to compete, but like I have told everybody, I don’t want to see my kid take a position because of the misfortune of someone else,” he said.
“In other words, Braxton should get that position back, then everybody else should go try to take it from him.”

Aw heck I'll go with the sentimental vote. Went with Braxton. It's not like we will be worse with any of these 3 starting. We will just be different kinds of better depending on who gets the nod.

Mind you, I don't follow this stuff too closely, but I thought I heard that Miller's shoulder likely wouldn't allow him to play QB. Is that not the case?

He's supposed to be able to throw at the start of the season. How well he'll be able to throw it or how long it lasts seems to be the issue.

Still the best legs at QB

I voted for Jones because I loved watching him run folks over.

I did like this position from the article you referenced:

I am old school. I know Cardale wowed everyone last season, but he got the job because of injuries to others. I would evaluate all my QBs in camp and start the best of the trio regardless of name.

If I knew Braxton could throw I would have voted for him.

Braxton Miller is way too accident prone plus he is almost non-coach-able, when Tom Herman was still offensive coordinator the two of them were often butting heads because Miller would go off script over and over again but it was Miller's natural ability to make those missed assignments look like part of the game plan.

I didn't read any of the links you posted (yet) but JT Barrett is a total student of the game, always studying film and trying to improve his game through hard work and coaching and I believe he has three years of eligibility left.

So start Cardale Jones this season, if all goes well enough Cardale will declare for the NFL draft after the '15 season and then plug JT Barrett in for the next two seasons and use Miller at a different position or let him transfer.

Interesting that Barrett's parents actually said that Brax should be the starter. All3 of these guys have been nothing but positive about this.

My vote definitely goes to JT being the starter. Although I really love the Cardale and Zeke combo with the play-action. Big arm with Cardale to stretch the defense and Zeke keeping them honest on the ground.

JT just does everything, his passing is sharp and has more than the average joe running ability. Not quite Braxton running level quickness, but the major difference is on 3rd down and long, defenses are predicting the escape run by Braxton due to lack of his passing capabilities, so the box is completely stacked with 7-8 defenders. Although, Braxton never had the luxury of Zeke in the backfield.

In addition, fans don't know what Braxton Miller we are getting. Sept 7th against VTech would be 21 months removed from game action for Braxton. I would love to pick his brain as to why he is staying. Does he know he will be the starter? Does he want to switch positions? Does he want a chance at another championship even though he potentially may be 2nd fiddle to either JT/Cardale? In the end, I'm glad he is staying with the program, and showing loyalty to the OSU faithful, which in turn shows maturity by not wanting the limelight at another school.

I chose Brax only because Urbs loves this guy and he has gone on record saying that he will give Brax every opportunity to start. A month ago I'd say no chance, but any of these 3 guys could start on any college roster.

I went JT. I think he throws much better than 12Gauge and with BM should still a question, its the safer bet.

Hurts him to lose Devin Smith, deep ball specialist

Braxton is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too injury prone. Put him in the slot and let him run sweeps and options.

Cardale is a solid backup, but he isn't really what I'd consider an all around weapon. Reminded me a lot of Jamarcus Russell. Strong arm, too big to arm tackle, not too fast but good enough to move chains.

JT is probably the best threat at QB IMO. He had a great year, minus the first 3-4 games. Of course he had to mold though.

I would definitely take JT as my starter though.
