Stanton's better at walking and hitting for power, but they both have comparable OBPs due to Martinez being a better hitter for average. Stanton was worth 4.6 more wins over that span though due to defense. Martinez isn't winning an MVP because he's a bad defender and he isn't the best player on the Red Sox. Also, there's that Trout guy. He's kinda good.
