Dez ran a 4.52 at the combine
Jeff ran 4.48 ( 4.38 low time at pro day) at the combine
Byron Jones ran a 4.36?
Dak.......4.79
Rod Smith.....4.52
Terrance Williams.....4.52

Jones fastest player in the NFL per in game data from NFL released this week. Personally I think that is BS. How can he be faster than Hill or Goodwin.

TW: If at his peak he was 4.52 and his speed was his best asset coming in, how can he be good now that he probably no longer even runs that and how will he be after a couple more years of slowing down? Yes, he is a very good blocking WR and if he is on the team he'll start because of that, but we use him for more than that.

I liked what I've been reading about Jones moving back to CB full time under Richard. The Seahawks only took 1 DB under 6' when he was DB's coach(I read) and Jones is big and fast like Richard likes. Hopefully this will turn things around for Byron

I think Williams can still get deep. I understand wanting speed, but none of these so called blazers are real good WRs. Maybe Hill from KC, but I'm not sure he is a number one yet. DJax is probably the most consistant of the burners but he has his problems too. Ginn finally learned to catch this year. The top WRs though besides maybe Antonio Brown are not what I would consider speedsters.

As far as Dez Bryant's speed, or lack there of. I'm sure he probably gets double covered a lot. And it frustrates him and the COWBOY'S offense.
Two things........I would like to see DALLAS draft a "burner" for the other side.........BUT
The COWBOYS have to be willing to throw deep in first quarter of games.
Whether it's a Dak or a Linehan problem, they need to scare opposing DBs early in games. The Dak run offense is too predictable,dink and dunk wise. I think that's one of the biggest differences between a Romo run offense and Dak's.
