Who is Byron Maxwell, where did he come from and why does he look so good?

I never saw him play at Clemson, so did anyone see his collegiate career?

Is Kris Richard that great of a coach? He has to be....

We're tossing out a 5th rdr on one side and a 6th rdr on the other and they're
stifling. Not to forget they're both only 25 years old. :smokin:

Anybody have any insight on Byron?

I found out he ran a 4.43 - 4.46 at the combine, had long 33.5" arms, is strong
at 24 reps on the bench, couldn't jump that high at 33" but had a very good broad jump.

Measurables look solid but why was he projected as a 6th rdr and we drafted him in the 6th?

It may be a bit early to get excited but wanted to know who saw this guy in college? thx

Here's a recent BR article too.

Thanks! Maxwell's 2nd pick was off the charts for today's NFL where you can't touch, grab,
bump or graze a WR. There will be no "inappropriate touching"... It still cracks me up.. :L

To pick off a crossing route pass is becoming more difficult and this was a thing of beauty... :suds:

In my fantasy world, I want to believe he is a product of superior talent scouting by management and a product of really good coaching/teaching. If that is the case, the Seahawks will continue to turn out top flight players regardless of the punitive salary cap and the reverse draft.

Did great in the Giants game, but that's just one game. The Giants are washed in 2013 and their effort looked weak. But one week earlier, SF attacked him all game long and he got burned on a few.

Let's see how he does in the next games and playoffs.

He might not see as much (or any) playing time if Thurmond and/or Browner are available at the start of the playoffs.
