Who has the most brutal stretch of games? Well I haven't looked @ their schedule but I'll say meeeechegan. Jimmy Jam STILL doesn't have his recruits in ann arbor. Can anyone name a single CFB coach that completely turned a program around in only 3 years? Well I can! But just ignore the fact he took Hoke's players & doubled the win total his 1st year, that doesn't count. Funny that for the so-called coaching genius he is he can't land a decent QB. And their recruiting class this year was somewhere between 18 & 21. Classic.

He can't beat Ohio State. Has a losing record against Michigan State. Last year went 0-5 against teams that finished the regular season above .500. But don't ever blame Jimmy Jam because this shit ain't his fault.

Has anyone ever seen a CFB coach that's called 1 of the best coaches in the land that hasn't won a division title or a conference crown, doesn't have multiple big time bowl wins & the closest he's gotten to a national title is winning duh maze 'n blew Spring Game?

hail to the victors? Not this year yet again!

I wouldn't say that Nebraska has the most difficult consecutive strech of games, but our road schedule is pretty brutal this year...

at Michigan
at Wisconsin
at Northwestern
at Ohio State
at Iowa

They were a 9 win team last year, and they've kinda been Tennessee's daddy here the last few years.

Georgia's schedule is pretty soft next year in general. One of those years where GT is our only P5 OOC opponent, which sucks.

If I had to come up with the toughest 4 game stretch, I'd go:

@LSU
Florida(in Jacksonville)
@Kentucky
Auburn

And that's only because LSU is always a tough out on the road and Florida and Auburn are our two biggest in conference rivals, and it'll be 3 games in a row away from Athens.

Depending on what Mullen does in Florida this will be a tough stretch.

Florida
@ Georgia
@ Auburn
Alabama
@ Sakerlina
Me thinks this is the "brutal" winner from what I've seen.

Northern Arizona
Vegas has us as a 7 point dog against BYE which is our best chance to win. We are double digit dogs in the rest of the games.:gaah:
Uh.... does Vegas know that Northern Arizona is a FCS team?

They're tough for a team like Tennessee. Gotta put things in perspective, man. Not everybody's team has made the playoffs 3 years in a row.
I hear ya, but it's Carolina and I can't give them any credit. I'd have to turn in my IPTAY card if I did.

Let me help.

The OU Brutal Stretch has 5 teams who went 42-24 .636.

The FSU Brutal Stretch has 5 teams, Miami, Wake, Clemson, NC St & ND that went 49-18 .731

I thought that would have stuck out, but what the hell do I know.

When you put it that way it sounds great.
When I looked at it first, the bye week must have diminished it I think.

Florida State will be in the Conversation.
9-3 vs 9-4 Virginia Tech

9-8 vs 8-4 Samford

9-15 @ 4-8 Syracuse

9-22 VS 8-5 NORTHERN ILLINOIS

9-29 @ 8-5 LOUISVILLE

10-6 @ 10-4 MIAMI

10-13 OPEN DATE

10-20 VS 8-5 WAKE FOREST

10-27 VS 12-2 CLEMSON

11-3 @ 9-4 NC STATE

11-10 @ 10-3 NOTRE DAME

11-17 VS 7-6 BOSTON COLLEGE

Welcome Scott Frost.

Yep. Realistically, I believe 7 wins would be a good first year. Any better is amazing, any worse is a testament to how bad of shape the program is in.

Welcome. You should check out your team board. It's amongst the best on the hoop. :suds:

Great
Now he'll be sucked into the Nebraska board, never to be heard from again.

Mizzou has 4 straight of:

@Purdue
Georgia
@South Carolina
@Alabama

Even with the bye week, they're probably going to be heavy underdogs in every game.

If we beat Purdue then I might make a 'we want bama' sign just for grins

Well if it's anything like last season's contest at Mizzou when the Boilermakers won 35-3, that sign is probably not gonna happen...hehe.

Mizzou was playing like the worst power 5 team in football until the Kentucky game.

A repeat is the type of thing that would cause job losses I'd imagine. Maybe not at the head coaching level but at the coordinator level.
