Who Has Been Playing Far Cry 5?

Yeah, the dog is great for hunting challenges too. I completed all my fishing and hunting challenges.

Peaches is fast at ambushing people.

Sharky is the worst companion seemed like he kept setting me on fire.

I somehow got my storylines crossed and cannot complete the Rye & Sons liberation mission "Wingman". It tells me to head to John Seed's ranch to recover the stolen plane. But when I got there it was a cult outpost and I liberated it thinking it would knock out 2 birds with 1 stone. But it didn't. It doesn't even give me a waypoint when I track the mission. Seems like that mission is dead in the water for me?

I think I progressed the main storyline too far before attempting it. I hate when these free range games do things like this. They should figure out a way to direct you towards completing things before hiccups like this happen.

I always play Far Cry for single player. That said, I'm not buying that game till it goes on sale. Given all the glitches, botched skill system, and content, it's just not worth $60. Watched enough streamers/videos to know that. When it's $39.99 or so (4th of July sale, likely) I'll snag it.

I almost completed the game and haven't encountered one glitch. The skill system is an improvement imo.

Well good news is once I liberated the Holland Valley (John's) region I was able to go back and complete the Wingman mission to get the pilot as a companion.

Trying to finish up some of remaining missions in that region before I move on. But trying decide which region to attack next.

The Playstation Store has it listed around 25% off right now I believe for the next week. The Gold Edition is around $67 give or take.

Yah I have a PS4, but just can't play FPS on anything but a PC, especially Far Cry which is actually optimized for PC. Better graphics by far if you have a $500 GPU (which I do )!

I'm still playing it. I've already beaten John and Jakob and finishing up some side missions before I go to Faith's region.

Not yet but not sure if I should play that first then play 3 or play 3 first and then the DLC.

Is the DLC connected to FC3? Wasn't aware of that. If not, then I'd say just finish the campaign (Faith's region) and then the DLC.

I am about midway through Jacob's whitetail region. Although I did already add some resistance points to Faith's region by accident. I watched a youtube vid on how to acquire a badass sniper rifle up by the massive statue of Joseph and had to clear some cult leaders in the process. I was about midway through John's region when I decided to go grab it, and I've been poppin heads & shootin down helicopters ever since. Best gun in the game.

I’m confused. If the DLC material is directly related to FC3 then why wait? Playing it right after the campaign seems like the better idea.

Nah, the DLC is related to 5 to my knowledge (haven't played either one yet). Far Cry 3 was just an added bonus (along with the DLC) you get when you bought the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition.

Then i’d definitely play the DLC first. To my knowledge none of the FC’s are related.
