Will CBs fly off the board in the 1st round?

Will 1 year starter Mitch Trubinsky get picked before DeShaun Watson?

Will Fournette go in the top 5 and will Cook go in the top 10? Will McCaffrey really go in the top 10?


Give me the BPA that could start for us.

Falling in love with someone in the late 1st and trading more picks is probably the wrong thing to do as you turn the chapter.

Trading down? We would trade the 37th pick for a later 2nd and a 4th? I think the first 4 picks we have can get us 1 starter at least, maybe 2 and 2 good players for depth.

2) Peppers will fall to the Steelers. Corey Davis will be take ahead of Peppers.

3) Zay Jones is as good as JuJu IMO.

4) CB's rule in top 40 picks.

5) Trubisky will be taken ahead of Watson.

6) Top 3 rb's will go in top 15 picks.

7) Evan Engram will be our pick at #37 !!!

Red - I'm all for a Tru trade. With Sidney Jones injured and Conley in trouble, the odds have increased. Also, it looks like Sherman and Butler won't be traded. However, the return will be less than expected if we pull the trigger.

If Cleveland takes Myles Garrett at #1 and trades picks to move up to get Trubisky, I think Cleveland would be very interested. My guess is they might offer a number 3 this year and a number 3 next year. Would we trade Tru for that? It's debatable.

With all the needs the Rams have, I just can't see taking a TE with the first pick.

C and LB are way more pressing needs than TE.

As for a trade down, I would love to see it, but is unlikely as whoever does fall will get Cleveland's phones ringing overnight for a trade down.

You would have to hope 5 guys fell for the Rams to get serious interest in their pick.

It could happen that a team wants a certain player and decides to move up, but I doubt it.

If the Rams stay at #37, I would want one of the top C or LB, or take Sidney Jones ( who won't play until the end of the season ), but is a top 10 player and replacement for Tru next season

I would trade Tru and his salary for (2) 3rd rounders.

DB is deep in this draft. Problem is, everyone knows it, so why trade for Tru and his inflated salary when you can just draft a comparable DB?

Don't forget Tru was a 3rd round pick. I like his toughness but he's benefited from a great Dline that gets to QBs quick.


Are our CBs system CBs? By that I mean can they be replaced easily? I think so


Wouldn't bother me to get Tankersley in the 3rd to learn behind Tru and then take his spot next year.

ALR - I sincerely doubt that we will take a C with pick #37. Also, I think Tru's familiarity with Greg Williams schemes makes him attractive to Cleveland.

Was just saying I would prefer they take a player at a position of need vs taking a TE as some have suggested

And, I still don't see a team taking on Tru's salary in such a deep DB draft.
