I'm hoping Giolito gets called up before the season ends. Washington tried to make him Strasburg 2.0 but you can't rush that.

he has a solid strikeout rate, but he's walking over 4 guys per 9 innings and has an ERA of 4.48. Even his 3.17 ERA in AA last year is a bit misleading as 12 of the 37 runs he allowed there were unearned. His run average was 4.69.

Fulmer was highly touted in the 2015 MLB draft (he was the 8th overall pick), but some scouts were skeptical about his future role in the majors (reliever or starter) and some of the prospect shine has worn off. He hasn't pitched all that well in the minors and his command's been even worse this year, putting up a 95/63 K/BB ratio in 122 innings this year with a 5.61 ERA in AAA. Looking more and more like a reliever, though he could be a very good one.

Yeah once I looked him up I completely remembered him.

Seems to really be struggling in AAA as you said so hopefully Twins can tee off on him tomorrow.

Lucas Giolito's start has been pushed back to Tuesday and he's slated to remain in the rotation indefinitely.

The second part is the most important, of course, as Giolito will have a rotation spot at least for a few turns while Reynaldo Lopez (back) is sidelined. Giolto, who is rated as MLB.com's No. 59 prospect, holds a 4.48 ERA over 24 starts for Triple-A Charlotte this year with a 134/59 K/BB ratio over 128 2/3 innings. He's been inconsistent in the minors but is worth an add in fantasy leagues due to his upside.
