My sixth keeper situation kinda sucks at the moment. I have no sure thing, but plenty of options. It's a 10 team H2H each cat league.

Sale, Hamels, Kipnis, Longo and Cespedes make up my first 5 keepers with these options for my sixth keeper:

Starling Marte, Todd Frazier, Eric Hosmer or Wil Myers.

I have a lot of older players that aren't keeper worthy (like Rios, Holliday, Iwukama, Kazmir, etc) since I focused more on this year rather than the future hence why my options suck. I'm leaning towards Marte due to upside and his age, but Frazier has been impressive this year... should I even consider Myers or Hosmer? What do you think?

I just don't get the hype with Marte. For me, it would be between Frazier and Myers... how many OF do you start? 3, then I say you go Frazier.

I say Marte. I feel he has the potential to be a top 25 fantasy contributor in the future.

Frazier is a top 10 3B Marte is a top 30 OF :suds:

I am not sold on Frazier for the long term. He has been awesome this year, but he just seems like the kind of player who is going to have a big season or two and then fade into oblivion.

Still though, my rule when deciding between OFs and IFs is that if it is a close call, I always side with the IF. There are so many OF possibilities out there. If I was going to be weak in any position, that would be it for me.

For that reason, I lean towards Frazier, but it is close.

Not Hosmer!

lol, guess Butler started to hit, so we both might be on Hosmers ass for the last month.

agree with infield over OF, Frazier has finally broken out, don't think he will be a .300 hitter but the power/speed combo is very hard to come by at 3b....Myers is still a question mark and you can find more guys that can do what Myers will do than what numbers Frazier will put up......A Ramerez and Beltre are another year older...Frazier will be a top 3 3b soon enough.

Yeah...good arguments for Frazier. Myers still deserves some consideration, but yeah...Frazier.

I kinda lost track of Marte this year...is he still swinging at every pitch that comes his way?
