I'm somewhat tuning out and only following updates via the MLB app for a bit. It's too frustrating and I'll only tune in again if/when we get back to .500.

I am also in Nashville through the 5th of July visiting a few close friends. So, I have better things to do than to get angry at the White Sox this weekend.

I will say that I hope we can grab 2 of 3 somehow and keep our heads above water going into a big stretch against the AL Central.

Sox win 1-0 in a shutout. Lance Lynn had a great night and to complete the trip to another dimension Leuery Garcia got the timely hit.

These are games that more often than not the Sox lose in the late innings, especially on the road and against better teams. Nice to see the Good Guys take one of them.

Didn't watch the game today, but I was glad to see the Sox hold on and give Dylan a much deserved W. Based on the numbers, it appears he didn't have his best outing, throwing 104 pitches in just 5 innings. But the main takeaway on that is he only surrendered a single run. That's the sign of a great pitcher, where you don't necessarily have your best stuff, yet still get the job done. The big knock on him since he hit the rotation has been his inconsistency. He's even battled that a bit this year, but it seems like he's really finding his groove of late. And I just learned today that he was named the AL's Pitcher of the Month for June. Nice way to kick off July as well!!

Looks like Giolito has found his pitching groove on this road trip. The first 7 Giants KOed. Pito now hitting above .285. Go Sox!
