You don't think the Vols have a chance of landing him?

Nah, I’m just being a dick because you left Nebraska off the list.
Figured you either totally spaced them off, or were fishing for Huskers.

Damn. If you were fishing, it didn’t take long to land one.

He could end up at Nebraska although I don't know the details on Riley's buyout clause.

Buyout doesn’t mean anything. I think we pay Pelini another 2 years.
We got way more money than LSU or Tenn.
B1G prints that shit.

No way imo. Too many money rich P5 teams looking for a coach after this season.

Yes, I get it......but he is a Nebraska boy ....and unless he has been corrupted.....he will feel the need to honor his word.

By next year UCF will be the best team in Florida bar none (pros included) ....ok this line might be a stretch :suds:

If Nebraska wants him then I think they need to make him an offer soon or someone else will scoop him up.

Coaches get fired in December but deals like this happen in October.

My gut says Nebraska because Riley is probably toast and they probably should have hired him when he was Oregon's OC. It was shrewd (or lucky considering the same guys went with Riley) to let him get some seasoning at a decent program so the HC learning curve won't be as bad. The catch is no AD. I'm sure he would love to go home but unless Nebraska hires quick he will report to an interim and then someone who may want his own guy. I think the fanbase gives him a long leash because it's been 20 years since they had a HC they bought into. But if him and the new AD it could be a problem. Nebraska could fuck around assuming he comes home only to watch someone like Texas A$M swoop in and make him an offer he can't refuse

Florida isn't going to be open they will do well enough to keep Mc his job.

Tenn or UCLA are the only ones on the list I would take. Otherwise I just wait because jobs at really school are opening every year like crazy.

Why that one? There's like a gazillion UW pics out there and you give him one with Smith? :mad2:

Just thank god it wasn't Ty Willingham I guess.
