At least he didn't pout & cry about it for months in the media like RW did when KD left. My goodness that was too much...

Supposed "vague" talks between Cavs and Hornets potentially around IT/Nets pick for Kemba. Also potentially involves bad contracts on both sides, so nothing close to getting done.

Yep another night for LeBeta. REFUSES to play hard or play any D at all, unless he's got a '92 Dream Team equivalent around him.

This is what happens when you have been PAMPERED to for a decade I guess though

Let's get past the all star break before we call out Lafonda. It's easy to make it a story/issue but there is still a lot of time.

Kind of a joke but yeah a lot of time left

I don't think they're gonna play defense between now and the playoffs though. Who knows they may just tank the rest of the season and not even make the playoffs. Its evident Lebron wants out. Especially reports are true he was barking at an executive in the Cavs front office

It's not hard. He's got to get that team together and play D, but they are in typical today's NBA "coast mode". That should end after the all star break. If it doesn't well... he's an even bigger bitch than I thought he was.

That team has some talent. The effort is the big ?? and yeah that starts with defense and the leader.

Giving up 116 points to an Orlando team full of who?

But yeah I'm still saying it's early

That wouldn't be bad at all. Walker would be a solid player to build around on a goof contract......when James walks.

Cavs had a 20-plus point lead and lost by double figures.

He can easily waive his no-trade clause and leave right now, but he isn't. That right there is all you need to know about the character of LeBron.

Magic have won 3 of their last 4 and also have recent wins over the Celtics and Wolves. They are a team that can surprise here and there. Doesn't explain away blowing a large lead though.

He doesn't want out now any more than he did before the season began. He could be gone tomorrow if he would allow the trade (although a deal would be tough to put together with his cap number) but he's sticking in Cleveland through this summer.

Missing the playoffs is a possibility; they are only 4 games ahead of the Pistons. That's a pretty decent gap with 5 teams in between though; it's not likely.

I looked at the Orlando roster and it looks like the kid from AZ wasn't even playing. Looked at Orlando's W/L and they are behind the Bulls. Any given night in the NBA until about March or even April.

We'll see if the Cavs can "push the button" and flip the script

I like your optimism, @SJ76. Wish I had some right about now.

If the Cavs FO doesn't make a single move in the next 24 hours, they are even more inept than I thought.

But the FO can't make players give 100% of effort. Bringing new players isn't the answer. The answer is looking in the mirror. AND Lebron has a history of kind of having that 1 foot out the door -- this would cause teammates to question everything.

But if the owner/FO and Lebron are having issues like we saw at the end of last year, then this could be a disaster. The Cavs brought in the coach Lebron wanted, the players he wanted, so this is on Lebron to do everything he can to make it work. Lebron knows he can turn it on and they will still win the East, but he needs to push the button.
