Well if he took the Vet minimum and only played in 4 games during the regular season, he'd actually be making about the same amount as his max contract, per game. In the playoffs all the players earn their own playoff shares.

You tell him gets an extra 5 months of the season off and he can pursue his business ventures in Silicon Valley right down the road. Peter Guber (Warriors other majority share holder) is a major Hollywood player and could set Lebron up with all sorts of different projects.

Dude would be making money hands over fist while stacking them rings.

Sounds legit to me.

Only 1 problem with this scenario:

Playing so few regular season games would prevent him from catching Kareem as the all time leading scorer and other statistical accumulation.

After the Warriors get LeBron how much longer before they go after the Unibrow? A starting 5 of Steph, Klay, KD, LeBron & AD would have the potential to win a ring or two.

Damn. You kicking Dray out?

That's why he's gotta play till he's 54. Doable.

Surprise surprise....I think he has to stay in CLE.

Moving to Philly would make him look like a mercenary- and Simmons deserves his own team. They would have to add some 3pt shooting as well- but that prob wouldnt be a huge problem. Im just not sure if Embiid/Simmons would even want him in a way- kind of like Cryrie.

The Lakers just had bad luck in that the drafts they got #2 picks there just werent the high level players you dream about when you draft that high. If they had a Simmons or Embiid or Porzingis maybe it would be different. What they have and Paul George might not be enough to get out of the 2nd round, let alone get to and or win the Finals in the West.

A lot could depend on Cleveland's pick its getting from Brooklyn as well.

There are AT LEAST 5 guys in this draft that would have gone #1 last year: Doncic, Ayton, Bagley, Jackson and Bamba. IF the Cavs can get one of those 5 guys its on like Donkey Kong. Whether they keep the guy- or trade the guy- it will be a major major asset.

A very very solid second tier of Sexton, Young, Bridges, Bridges also offer extremely high level talent. Its a freaking GREAT year to have a top 10 pick.

The Cavs just have so much shooting, and depth, and of course, Kevin Love- who, since becoming the #2 option ahs really flourished (which is not a surprise).
