Nope not a coincidence at all. Kerrigan will still end the season with 10+ sacks. I just heard a stat that he is the one of 5 I think plays to have 7.5 sacks since his rookie year and the others are HOFers. I don't think Ryan is going to be a HOFer but he is a gamer.

Sooner Ionman gets back in the lineup the better. With no interior push, teams are scheming to take our OLBs out of the game, and its kinda working.

Exactly right. Outside pass rushers are much less effective without an interior push. Our run defense and our pass rush suffered the moment Allen got injured. It was compounded when Ironman got hurt. Preston Smith completely disappeared after appearing to turn a corner.

i think smith and RK will pick up their games
i am interested in seeing spaight over the long haul. he has shown some good run diagnosis and some much needed speed too
cullen reid , our new DE could give us a more stout run defender at 302 lbs . i would say he is a bit better and younger then ziggy hood
anderson is still learning the ropes but i expect he will be a good player for us
