If you can find this interview I would check it out ... Ryan Reaves was childhood friends with Scott Oakes son growing up in Winnipeg and spent many hours over at the oake household

At one point the cameras focused on Reaves size 15 bare feet (wearing slides) and Scott Oake made a comment that he would come home and see these massive shoes at the front door and be amazed that the kid was only a preteen

To which Ryan Reaves made a comment (paraphrasing) ... "i caused many a fight between you and your wife Ann because you thought some big black guy was there with her"
