Great pic by the way.

I just "stoled" it off of google. Tried to find the one that showed the bacon most. They often have some beans on them too. Pretty damned good dog and can buy them on the street in the hood of phoenix lol

A lot on them. I have had probably thousands of dogs in my lifetime, and never one of those. It's now on the list, minus the peppers, I'm in the 50's now, can't do peppers.

I was late to the party on these too. The peppers are "sport peppers" which aren't overly spicy but an adversity to spice hard to get around. They are also sprinkled with celery salt.

It's weird how different regions have such a different take on something so basic Murica.

A nickname for the hot dog, because it's frome here, not Europe, is the American Muckworst.

Only mustard should be used on a hot dog or brat, ketchup (catsup) is for burgers.

A brat is a different story. I like those bitches coated in saute'd onions and mushrooms.

From what I understand celery salt is a must for the Chicago.

And even if the peppers are weak, I still need my pills to eat spicy food.

So is this thread going to be moved to some previously unknown food forum deep in the bowels of the SportsHoopla?

I never knew the name. But it is crazy how there are so many variations. Even puerto ricans have their own variation which is normally topped with those potato straws. Puerto rican seasoned beef and nacho cheese are also typical toppings you can add from the street carts.

Since I changed my diet to make my doc happy, an occasional omeprozl, spelilgnin, for me.

I take the over the counter version of some prescription stuff. I only need it with certain foods, but that list does seem to be getting larger.

Yep..pretty much. I am not a raw tomato guy but I will keep them on for the full flavor. I don't normally like relish either but they type used on the chicago dog is really good.

Side story about Puerto Ricans.

I have been married 3 times, yeah I know. The first wife was PR, partly. Her Mom was full on PR>

One night a few years ago, my ex, who happens to be one of my best friends, and my current wifes friend. , (3 decades ago), says

"I just realized that Mom is Puerto Rican, I'm kinda Rican, and Danny is sorrta Rican"

:pound:
