Wiggy might be homer of the year.

But he happens to be right on this one. I think even if you take out the history of the city and the back story, it is still up there as one of the greatest upsets in Finals history and one of the best individual performances of all time.

I know but I think what Dirk did in Dallas was unreal.

Especially, when you consider how the super teams have flourished since that title.

Plus it has the defining moment of what may go down as the greatest player in NBA history's career.

Any montage that features LeBron's accomplishments will be anchored by one play and one play alone- "The Block"- which is the perfect play to show anyone 50 years from now when they ask- just how good was LeBron James?

I would never take anything away from Dirk and what Dallas accomplished that year. It was awesome.

I just think LeBron beating the 73 win Warriors (even with their injuries, suspensions, etc.) was slightly more awesome.

I guess I can see that POV but damn.....Dirk''s help was Terry, Marion, Kidd, Barea.

James had a lot better help IMO.

James had a lot better team to beat. He had some help from Adam Silver and Steph's knee but credit where it's due, great win and I was happy for him and the shittiest sports town in the country.

Well, at least you are consistent.
Thanks. Nothing can be proven in this thread because it’s all opinion based. And opinions are like assholes. It’s literally a waste of time to argue either side.

Tyson Chandler was an elite defensive center.

Also, the Mavs were a true team in every sense of the word. While Dirk was the catalyst, he didn't carry nearly the load LeBron has really at any point.

Not a fan of ring chasing but darn it if seeing Lebron winning a title for the Cavs wasn't something good to see.
