The ACC and SEC play the least amount of regular season P5 teams on average year in and year out. There's a reason those two 14 member conferences avoid playing their own conference members.

I'm not an ACC fan, I am a Clemson fan.

We don't want 9 conference games because we like to schedule games that our fans find interesting.

And I have to laugh at you when Clemson's SOS has ranked higher in the Sagarin SOS ranking each of the past three years.

Is that the ol 'we need four OOC games so we can schedule more P5 opponent's' excuse? If that were the case than why is it that the only two P5 conferences that play an 8 game conference schedule also play the least amount of regular season P5 opponents on average year in and year out.

Don't know, you'll have to take that up with the actual schools who schedule light. We play nine P5 opponents every year, and have 10 scheduled for most years. Thus far we don't have a 10th scheduled for is 2021 and that's because the ACC in it's infinite wisdom schedules us for three ND games in your years starting in 2020 and we can't find a dance partner willing to come to Clemson in 2021 (we play @ South Carolina) in return for a home game in 2024.

Clemson has absolutely nothing to apologize for with it's schedule.

Since the inception of the BCS in 1998...
20 seasons have passed us by.

Using only the regular season...Florida State has
played 160 ACC games. We have played 45 OOC games
against P5/BCS schools. That's an average of over 10 a year
If you throw in 22 P5/BCS teams in bowl games and conf champ
games that's a total of 227 in 20 years. That's 11.3 per year.

You think the Huskies can match that?

I don't. Even if the Pac12 had played 9 league games a year
for 20 years, and I don't think they have...that would only
be 180 games. You've only scheduled 26 reg season games vs
P5/BCS teams and have played in 9 bowl games against P5/BCS teams.

By addition that would give you 215 games.

I'm still stuck on Washington only playing 9 P5/BCS teams in
Bowl games over a 20-year period of time. Good Heavens
how weak. Plus you're only 2-7 in those bowl games vs P5/BCS
teams. 'Course you're also only 11-15 in reg season games vs
P5/BCS teams. 13-22 overall. I bet the phone rings off the
hook to get you guys on the schedule.

I don't understand why you would even want to get in a thread like this.

A&M already tried that. Didn't work:doh:
Preach on brother.

It is Jerry Jones priority and influence that screws things up. He's convinced both UT and A&M they need to follow the Cowboy model. That is the primary objective in having a football team is to make the most money. Winning football games is secondary. Business ya know.

I'd like to blame Jerrah but the pendejos at both institutions seem to be just as guilty.
