Looks like Tannehill will miss some time, maybe season. Is Matt Moore the guy or do they need to pursue Colin or Jay, or someone else??

Matt Moore is one of the best backup QBs in the NFL plus he knows the system. I think he's the guy. I would also like to see Brandon Doughty get a good look. He put up some impressive stats in college.

Hopefully the Fins can turn this situation into as much of a positive as possible by developing the backups. Unless another QB from another roster has star potential I think the Fins should stay the course.

2018 should be "The Year Of The Quarterback" in he draft.

The Fins will probably be drafting one. That said, the Fins need to figure out their QB situation one way or another because they have too much talent on the roster to waste this year.

yep, I think starting Moore, or at least giving him the chance to prove himself is best move. Heard that Cutler would return to play if he gets or receives "starter" or close to starter money. Not sure if that makes sense, but they need a back up now in case Moore flames out or gets hurt. Moore was a highly ranked QB in recruiting, so it may be his chance to make something happen. I think this is his last year on contract??

You are correct. Moore is a UFA after this year. That is usually when players have the most to gain by playing well. I am not sure if Moore is content being a backup or if he has the drive to be a starter. He helped the team win some clutch games last year to get the team in the playoffs. He is capable.

It looks Jay Cutler will be the Fins' starting QB. He has a great opportunity. The Fins are stacked at the skill positions so he wont have to try to force the ball to any one player. It's also an opportunity for him to take another step up in his career under Adam Gase.

He was at his best with Gase. Like Tannehill inconsistent.
He won't have an O-line like he had with Gase previously but he received too much blame for Chicago's problems.

I think the Fins' Oline will be better than what you expect. We'll see as the season starts.

I always liked Moore. He's played well when called upon. I'm really not sure Cutler will do better, honestly.

The Dolphins have cap space problems right now. This makes it worse.

It's funny how Pats fans come out of the woodworks when another AFC team makes a major move. Debbie, You really talking about the Fins' cap space on a 1 year deal?
