Georgia:

First true freshman QB to ever win the Rose Bowl
First overtime winner in Rose Bowl history
First 3 seed to ever win their semifinal game
First 55+ FG made in Rose Bowl history
First team to ever beat Oklahoma when they scored 30+ first half points

Next up, first former Saban assistant to beat Nick Saban?

First time our QB’s threw more interceptions than touchdowns? (Not sure if this is true, but it is pathetic)

You forgot one, first trip to Notre Dame in school history. I think that might have been their first game north of the Mason-Dixon line in like 40 or 50 years.

Where’s that clown that has a list? He has started about 9 of these threads for his boys this year.

I doubt it's a first but 10-3 is a good turn around from 4-8 and this year was Notre Dame's first win in a New Years day bowl since 1994 Cotton Bowl.

That was the story people were told, but we went to Colorado in 2010.

As opposed to all of the trips Notre Dame has made to Athens? And what is the fixation with the mason dixon line? I know it hasn't been that long since UGA went to Okie State, Colorado, and AZ State...which are farther travel and more time change.

Maybe going up north but not going to Notre Dame that was a first. It's also not true by the very slimmest of margins like one degree. Even so 2 games since 1965 is kind of pathetic but probably not entirely Georgia's fault.

LSU has the highest paid DC in the history of college football (not proud of it, either).

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron announced Wednesday night on Twitter that defensive coordinator Dave Aranda has agreed to remain with the Tigers. Aranda is receiving a new four-year contract that will pay him $2.5 million annually, a source told ESPN. The entire $10 million deal is guaranteed.

The only first that matters in this era is first to win the college football playoffs.
