I have to say - we should all chip in and give CD some imagination - because his screen name is ridiculously transparent, but maybe I'm missing something (again). I'm aghast about his - as I think CD - ought to at least "act" like he has something to hide.

Mingo - of course - was the last name of the Bronco's first all-star running back - who was also the 1st African American FG specialist. I've been Mingo more than 20 years.

It's a play on chew tobacco. It was my CB handle.

And I've never seen Star Wars and have no plans of doing so.

It was 1976. A rural community, free of crime... Until the man in chartreuse showed up.

Long story short, he stole my Granada. As he drove off, I yelled at him "Like Granadas, Motherf***er?!?!?!

And LGM was born.

The name itself isn't any deeper than a 23 year old version of me discovering the CBS community forum and hastily creating a profile so I could chat football. I picked the name because I a bit more flippant back then and wasn't all that shy to communicate to others that I was smarter then them! I've matured a little bit (just a little) but I still use the screen name all these years later for sentimental reasons. I use the same name on a few other forums as well, including a long range hunting and shotgun forum.

Well ikf, seems like your ego and maturity progressed to the point of " I'm not so bitchin " as I thought I was, and you actually figured it out. Funnin aside and throwing out the essays you have a hankerin for from time to time, I think you bring some very knowledgeable and insightful football gist to this board. Just mo.:)

As a baseball guy it's moreso an homage towards Royals baseball during 2011 and 2012 when the much talked about farm system actually was producing a harvest; along with the Zach Greinke and eventually James Shields trades. There was a lot of talk about guys like Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas, and then a few others came along like Salvador Perez and then Lorenzo Cain and Alcides Escobar. The name itself is a play on Mike Moustakas' name and position, but at its core it moreso represented a fresh and more optimistic face to a then forsaken baseball franchise; and stubbornly I insisted Moustakas would be a strong player and eventually I got proven right there so that's a double bonus for me :).

I have to say though, it's a little surreal to realize my username is likely obsolete by the trade deadline. A sad deal in some respects- but I gotta say it was well worth the time Mike was here.

I thought - there would - at least be - a blueberry truck out of control - that crashed into your rural delivery mail box, or recounting the time you crash swan dive style into a swimming pool full of blueberries.

You do post like Steve Atwater played - that's a pretty high compliment - in my book.

NFLBronco seems like obvious choice.

My backup was SoSS (son of SpringStein)

If I was a Bills fan it would have been CUBuffaloBill

If I was a Jax fan and couldn't spell like Mingo instead of Jagwire it would have been NFLexbroncos

I dragged this screen name with me from the CBS boards. The Mile High part is pretty easy to figure out. 64 either represents the year i was born OR it's my current age. You figure it out! Either way, I'm a senior citizen around these parts.

Life is full circle. You start out drooling, learn to spit and end up drooling again in the end. Diapers on both ends of life as well.

Mine is pretty complicated. The c stands for confidence, the d stands for dynamite, the u stands for unique, the m stands for magical...And ok that is where it runs out. Essentially it comes from ESPN where they gave a name recommendation and this is what they recommended and I was too lazy to change it.
