I can't set parameters like that because at a glance that appears as a blowout. Unfortunately I don't have time to watch 10,000 games to see each individual scenario.depends…i've see 17 points score in in 3 minutes.
redefine your perimeters please OP.
I got that when you said you couldn't change 9 to 8, I was just trying to be an ass.I can't. The problem with making a poll for this also lies within the same issue as deciding where the cutoff point is. It is so freaking subjective.

Some smart ass remarks will be necessary though.

That's irrelevant. Final scores can be deceiving, as far as how the game actually played out. If you didn't watch a game, or at least take the time to give it more than a glance, you don't need to worry if it was a really a close game or not.I can't set parameters like that because at a glance that appears as a blowout. Unfortunately I don't have time to watch 10,000 games to see each individual scenario.
What 2 people see as a close game is subjective the only unsubjective thing is pure statistical data. How one percieves that data is also subjective. That's irrelevant. Oh. Change out every part and see what happens
So I just started working on something today and didn't realize the magnitude of said project until I set my mind to it. I would like some help on said parameters.
I am trying to see who the is the best coach during tight games. Since there are 130 coaches that need to be a number which can be calculated as quickly as possible. So what number defines a close game: anything that is single digits, a touchdown or less, a field goal game? I am also going to try and calculate these stats against top 25 teams separated into 2 categories: midseason top 25, end of season top 25. Unfortunately, the final result top 25 will only be applicable back to 2002, but a 15-year stretch is a clear picture.

There's more objective data than just the final score that should go into how you subjectively perceive the game. What 2 people see as a close game is subjective the only unsubjective thing is pure statistical data. How one percieves that data is also subjective.
By looking at the information for 5 seconds? There's more objective data than just the final score that should go into how you subjectively perceive the game.
7 or less imo.

I am so hot for you right now....the correct answer is 3 or less.. eot //eod
that is not an opinion its a fact.. this is also not up for debate.. your reponse is not necessary.. I have spoken
Was going to boycot because potato salad wasn't an option, but I think this is a great question.
I voted 3 or less. 3 Is perfect because then you have to consider do you take the FG to tie, or go for the win. Do you have the balls to try a play with 7 seconds left to win???
