Every once in a while a song comes on the radio, or the muzak at the Y, or wherever, that I heard in my childhood, and I just get transported back in time. I've been listening and watching this primitive music video for a couple of weeks now and still haven't got my fill. Others have recorded the song, even Ronstadt, but they can't compare with the lead singer here.

Other songs that have affected me this way are Be My Baby, Lover's Concerto, Tom Dooley.

Dusty Springfield credits this song with turning her to Blue Eyed Soul.
