I got the Brooklyn Winter Lager over the weekend. I wasn't impressed with it. Not too good.

grabbed a 6 of this the other day though

Ralph Steadman is awesome. Those beers have to be good.

    Schafly Caraway IPA.

Starts off with an APA taste, then has a toasted flavor and a slight caramel aftertaste much like the Rye IPA. So it basically tries to be both of my favorite Schafly beers at the same time. I think I'd still prefer the APA normally and the Rye IPA with food but the Caraway is a great jack-of-all-trades small batch.

I don’t feel any shame until at least three-fourths of a fifth are gone, and even then, never until the next day, and usually only if the wrong people notice.

I’m currently drinking bourbon from my little airplane bottle reserve stash because I forgot to hit the liquor store on the way home.

I just picked up a bottle of Bourbon County and CBS myself....too bad I won't be drinking them for a while.

Buuuut, a restaurant here is tapping a keg of CBS Friday (which reminds me. The bar down the street might have got a keg. They've been putting out some awesome stuff - Lunch, Dark Apparition, Oil of Aphrodite, White Monkey, etc lately).

Picked up a bottle of Grand Teton Vodka, and drank it over ice last night.

    Was absolutely blissful.

Does not disappoint. Not sure if it's better than High Westified, but man this is a good stout though it's a bit boozier. I think it's better than BCBS and that's before accounting for pricing. Also scored a few bottles of these:

I loved Big Bap Baptist last year, I can't wait to dig into these.

I saw the Big Bad Baptista at the liquor store. I considered buying it up.
