I almost bought a bottle the other day when I was passing through the liquor store but ended up with a bottle of Basil Haydens since it was on sale.

Basil Hayden is good but not the kind of drink I'd go out of my way to buy.

ShowMe%20IPA.jpg

O'Fallon's is my 4th place Missouri Brewery but this one was selling out at the grocery store so when I saw it in I decided to pick it up. A great summer beer. A citrus IPA thats light and smooth. O'Fallons generally has 'girl' beers and this is probably as gateway as an India Pale Ale gets. I guess I would call this a social drink.

Also had some Dogfish Head Beer for Breakfast the last couple of days. Tasty stuff. Someone also hooked me up with a couple of free bottles of The Bruery 8 Maids-A-Milking and Ballast Point Peppermint Victory at Sea.

I got a mixed 12-pack of Coney Island, it has the Mermaid Pils, 1609 Amber, Overpass IPA, and Freaktoberfest Pumpkin, which I tried last night.

I was looking for Beer for Breakfast yesterday but came up empty. They had the 8 Maids-a-Milking at the store, but I grabbed a bottle of the Autumn Maple instead. Also took the Flying Dog Sea Salt Caramel Brown and have to say it is quite delicious.

Drinking that 8 Maids right now. The yeast and fruit flavors steal the show. Pretty different for a stout.

Had it for Thanksgiving breakfast.

Lots of coffee, didn't get much of the scrapple spice.

Tried a couple sours tonight.

Brix City is a pretty new brewery. It's in Little Ferry, NJ, just minutes away from the GWB.

Hoping to get my hands on some Lagunitas High West-ified and Barrel Aged Ten Fidy tomorrow. Might get some BCBS, but I'm a little hesitant. Last year's batch was pretty underwhelming (infected?).

A local brewery is having a barrel aged sour bottle release thing in a couple weeks. I think there are 4 or 5 they are putting out. They should be good, but they are relatively new, so you never know, I guess.
