Wentz on Starting Week 1 "It's Going to be Close"

I realize a lot of you are just trolling, but yeah, there's no way Howie Roseman/Doug Pederson traded away players and a ton of pics to draft Carson Wentz, just to put him on the bench behind a streaky qb like Foles. Dream all you want about a qb controversy, but it ain't happenin'.

Besides, even if they're sure Wentz will be ready for week 1, saying so would be stupid at this point. Let Atlanta's coaches prepare for two qb's instead of just one.

I'll have a better idea after he gets some reps in the next game with the starting o-line.

This last game, playing behind the 2nd and 3rd line, he had 13 drop backs with 11 bad snaps and immediate pressures. He went something like 6-13 for 45 yards no pics. What was most impressive was after the game when the media kept harping on the bad snaps and the line problems. He never took the bait. Was very complimentary of the opportunity and team.

My biggest concern is online depth. Already lost our starting center thanks to your ACL thread. Still pissed at you about that.

Funny how people downplay Philly. They “over achievers” or “Wentz is a system QB”. Hilarious.

The phenomenal, on the run, miracle plays Wentz made over and over every game was not a system.

Hey Carson... our system is for you to get a heavy blitz and you get grabbed by 8 Redskins and you’ll break out and run for 30 yards or scramble right and while getting sacked heave the ball 55 yards down field on the money against Seattle. He is a very special QB that is probably the most sought after player in the NFL if you factor in age.
There’s no overachieving, there’s no QB controversy and there’s no system. He’s just a fucking stud.
