so either he has THE worst plate discipline ever, or teams are just throwing him strikes all day long knowing he can't hit for jack shit

but the articles ive seen regarding Phillies don't really lie, while the farm system has improved a great deal, theres been way too many misses with 1st round picks over the last 15 years...........way too many

Cornelius Randolph sucks, Moniak right now sucks. Haseley, an advanced college bat, is just now starting to gain some traction like you hope a 22 year old playing high A ball should

so, that was essentially the pick predicted for a while. they had Mize going first, who sounds like a stud. the catcher was mainly slotted as 2nd, and the cat we got was there at 3, though there was some differentiation between the SS/2B madrigal and the pitcher from Florida. Again, all college ball guys, hope the kid is the real deal. And as far as Moniak goes, if nothing else, cat is on a hot streak, why not at least be positive and think it's an upswing on his potential?That being said, wish Mize was the player in his draft class, he sounds like a sure fire stud, 4 plus pitches with good command.
